Workshop Overview
This course is designed to present the best management practices for self and group study preparation for PMI’s certification exam: Project management Professional (PMP).
Each attendee is presented with an opportunity to create a baseline assessment of the test readiness, a thorough and complete review the theory of Project Management as detailed in PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and a final assessment with personal study strategies.
Attendees are introduced and will work in hands–on environment with the five process areas, the nine knowledge areas and the 44 processes contained in PMBOK.
The course is designed to review the content of the five process areas and their content. As most project management courses focus on knowledge areas, this course presents the integration needed to create a successful personal success plan.
Of the Participants who have taken the course and subsequently sat for the exam, 99% have passed the certification exam on their first try.

What You Will Learn
- An understanding of the PMP Certification Exam registration requirements and registration process
- Baseline assessment of fifty exam-like questions to provide insight to test readiness
- A complete review of the PMBOK by process group
- An introduction to important test areas and concepts that are not found in the PMBOK, yet are expected for exam success
- A final classroom exam assessment of one hundred exam-like questions that will provide the attendee with the ability to develop a personal test strategy for success
- Discussion of test taking and passing strategies
